Alice Kirkham (née Salthouse; c. 1651 – December 13, 1686) was the 9th great-grandmother of Cometan, classified as one of Cometan’s distant maternal ancestors in the Prescott family line. Born in Lancashire, Alice married her husband of Thomas (1660 – 1701) on 13th February 1685 in Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire. Alice gave birth to her son William in 1677. Alice was buried in Poulton-le-Fylde on 20th December 1686. Her parents were John Salthouse (1627 – 1687) and Alice Dickson (1595 – ????).
