Ann Airey (also spelt as Anne; née Willan; December 27, 1707 – June 1746) was the 8th great-grandmother of Cometan, classified as one of Cometan’s distant paternal ancestors in the McKerney family line.
Born in Dent in Yorkshire to John Willan (1669 – 1740) and Cicily Capstacke (1673 - 1730), Ann became the wife of Charles Airey (also spelt as Ayrey; 1707 – 1781) on 25th December 1727 in Dent, with whom she had five children including William Airey who connects Ann to Cometanic ancestry. It is recorded that Ann Airey died at the age of thirty-nine in Dent, Yorkshire and was buried on 17th June 1746 in Dent, York.
In Cometanic ancestry, Ann is categorised as part of the 10th generation retrograde, classifying her as a distant ancestor of Cometan.
