Ann Forshaw (née Pilkington; April 12, 1757 – January 7, 1840) was a distant maternal ancestor of Cometan, specifically his 6th great-grandmother in the Cottam family line. Born in Simonswood, Lancashire, Ann married James Forshaw and had at least one child with him, named John Foreshaw. Ann Forshaw’s parents are John Pilkington and Ann Caddick. She died in Ormskirk, Lancashire.
