Ann Forshaw (1615 – 1682) was the 10th great-grandmother of Cometan, classified as one of Cometan’s distant maternal ancestors in the Cottam family line. Born in Rufford, Lancashire, Ann is recorded as having married James Forshaw and as having given birth to at least one son named James Forshaw. Little else is known about her life other than that she died at the age of sixty-seven in 1682, although the place and specific date of her death remain unknown.
