Ann Moon (née Fish; February 1756 – March 1825) was the 5th great-grandmother of Cometan, classified as one of Cometan’s distant maternal ancestors in the Prescott family line. Born in Leyland, Lancashire, Ann was baptised on 15th February 1756, likely at St Andrew’s Church in Leyland. She is known to have married Henry Moon (1753 – 1808) on 29th September 1776 in St Mary the Virgin in Eccleston and also looks to have had a second ceremony at St Andrew’s in Leyland on 1st October 1776 for some unknown reason. She is thought to have given birth to six children, including Ralph Moon (1778 – 1859) who connects her to Cometanic ancestry. Ann is recorded as having died at the age of sixty-nine in Eccleston, Lancashire. She is believed to have been buried on 15th March 1825, likely at St Mary the Virgin Church.

In Cometanic ancestry, Ann is classified as part of the 7th generation retrograde, thus categorising her as an ancestor of Cometan.
