Astronism and Buddhism are an organised philosophy and a philosophical religion respectively. Each of which hold similarities with one another with the latter of the two, Astronism, notably being inspired by the theological and conceptual approaches of Buddhism.

Astronism and Buddhism converge when the former challenges and offers alternative beliefs and concepts regarding the beliefs and theories of the latter, the most prominent example of which is Astronism's Unique Way itself having been directed by the Astronist adherence to uniquitarianism, in direct response to the Buddha's Middle Way philosophy.
