The birth of Cometan, which also be termed as the nativity of Cometan, occurred on the 1st July 1998 at 5:30pm in Sharoe Green Hospital in the borough of Fulwood in the city of Preston, Lancashire, England in the United Kingdom. Cometan was named Brandon Reece Taylor by his parents, Louise and Sean, and was recorded as 3.8 kg (8.6 lbs) in weight at the time of birth. By his first health check had grown to 4.1 kg (9.2 lbs) as recorded on 20th July 1998.
Shortly following his birth, Lucia Natalie, Derrick Taylor, Irene Mary Taylor, William Warbrick and Hilda Warbrick all came to visit Cometan. This was before Cometan was brought home to 239 Station Road in the town of Bamber Bridge.
Cometan was born healthy at full term, but underwent a ventouse delivery. His muscle tone was recorded as "good", his reflexes "brisk, his mouth and eyes "clear", his fontanelles "soft", and was recorded as having no birth marks.
From notes retrieved from Cometan's personal child health record, on 10th April 2000, Cometan is noted to have shown good comprehension, that he responded to simple comments, that he was able to build a tower of seven cubes, and was reported to know approximately twenty different words.
Cometan also noted to have been a choosy eater and that he didn't like to drink milk. He is also noted to awaken at night and want to get into his parents' bed. Finally, in the record, it is noted that Cometan enjoyed queueing his toys up, such as small cars and that he began walking unaided after fourteen months.
