an ancient Astronic specimen dated to the Nordic Bronze Age found in Bohuslän, Sweden; a rock-engraving depicting the constellation Cassiopeia alongside a man leading a dog, perhaps located in the night sky. Its sister specimen is the Bohuslän Stellar Depiction.

Origin and etymology[]

  • Astro-English: from Astronese, the title Cassiopeian Man & Dog was coined by Cometan for this specimen during his first phase of scholarship on the origins of the Astronic Tradition. An alternative title for this specimen is the Bohuslän Man-leading-dog
