Cosmic alchemy
noun (also Astroalchemy, Astronist hermeticism)
the tradition of alchemy in Astronism, characterised by its focus on the animate entity of The Cosmos, believed to possess the opportunity for mystical interaction, especially in aid of achieving astrosis or discovering the astronomical elixir.
Origin and etymology
- Astro-English: from Astronese, the concept of cosmic alchemy, or an Astronist approach to alchemy, finds firm origins in Cometan’s earliest writings pre-omnidoxically as well as reaffirmed in Cometan’s authorship of the Omnidoxy.
