Divine independence, also known as the independence of The Divine, or independent divinity, refers to the ontological precept important in Astronist cosmology that The Divine is totally independent of all other existences and non-existences and is neither sustained, or dependent. This precept is applied in order to distinguish between divine nature and the nature of The Universe and The Cosmos.
