The term "divinology" holds two distinct meanings in a Millettarian philosophical context, the first of which pertains to the discipline of study within wider sanitology dealing with the nature, role, functionality, and the extent of the interaction of The Divine from the Millettarian cosmology.

The second of the meanings of the term pertains to a divinology which is a particular approach to the contemplation of The Divine as characterised by one or more beliefs regarding the nature of The Divine therefore different divinologies can be created depending on a person's own beliefs and approaches to the discipline.
