Doctrinal religion is a post-omnidoxical term of Cometanic origin that is part of the Astronist philosophy of religion and refers to the form of a religion after it has been codified and its beliefs established. This form of religion is often seen as the successor to an anecdotal religion, or the form of the same religion in which stories were spread of the central figure.
An example of a doctrinal religion include Christianity in contrast with the largely anecdotal Jesus Movement.
