Dorothea Pilkington (also spelt as Dorothy; née Webster; c. 1660 – February 1734) was the 9th great-grandmother of Cometan, classified as one of Cometan’s distant maternal ancestors in the Cottam family line. Dorothy was born in the village of Aughton in Lancashire and is recorded as having married Oliver Pilkington and as having given birth to at least one child named Sarah Pilkington. The identity of Dorothy’s parents remains unknown and she is recorded as having died at the age of seventy-four in Aughton.
In Cometanic ancestry, Dorothy is classified as part of the 11th generation retrograde, categorising her as a distant ancestor of Cometan.
