Edward III of Antrobus (1624 – 1701) was the 11th great-grandfather of Cometan, classified as one of Cometan’s distant paternal ancestors in the Taylor family line. Born in Cheshire, Edward was the husband of Elizabeth Wright (1628 – 1684) and is known to have fathered at least one child named after who was born in 1646. Little else is known of Edward’s life except for that he died at the age of seventy-seven still in Cheshire. His father was Edward II of Antrobus (c. 1600 – c. 1641) and his grandfather was Edward I of Antrobus (September 1570 – 1614).
In Cometanic ancestry, Edward is categorised as part of the 13th generation retrograde, classifying him as a distant ancestor of Cometan.
