Origin and etymology[]

  • Astro-English: from Astronese, the prefix exo-, denoting externality, conjoined with the word theology denoting the study of religious beliefs and divinity; meaning ‘the study of divine power incorporating extraterrestrial life.’ Exotheology is the root practice of the belief system of exotheism (which as a term encompasses a number of different systems).
