Not to be confused with his son Frederick Taylor.

Frederick “Fred” Taylor (April 20, 1878 – ????) was the paternal great great-grandfather of Cometan. Born in Oldham (then part of Lancashire), Fred married Eliza Burgess on 20th October 1906 at St Margaret’s Church in Hollinwood, Oldham and they had a son named Frederick Taylor in April 1906, he himself was the great-grandfather of Cometan. In the 1911 census, Fred is recorded as still being married to Eliza and living in Lees, Lancashire.

In the 1881 census of England and Wales, Fred was living with his parents James and Ann Taylor (née Leach) at 211 Honeywell Lane in Oldham, Lancashire, England. By the 1939 census of England and Wales, Fred was recorded as living at 2 Hugh Fold in Lees, Lancashire (perhaps now called Wellfield Lodge).

In Cometanic ancestry, Fred is classified as part of the 4th generation retrograde, thus categorising his as an ancestor of Cometan.
