Frederick Taylor (March 1, 1905 – January 17, 1954) was the paternal great-grandfather of Cometan and the father of Derrick Taylor. Born in Coppull, Lancashire, Frederick married his wife Ellen Stringfellow (1905 – 1966) in July 1927. After attending a meeting to arrange their children’s impending marriage, Frederick and Ellen, along with Richard and Edith Hardacre, were involved in a car accident on 17th January 1954 in Coppull during which Frederick died.
Frederick’s last words, as later recalled by Ellen during the inquiry, were “look after yourself, Nelly”.
In Cometanic ancestry, Frederick is classified as part of the 3rd generation retrograde, thus categorising his as an ancestor of Cometan.
