Hyper-Astronism is a form of Astronism that is often contrasted with Hypo-Astronism. It is principally characterised by any exhibition of hypercosmocentric thought and may also be associated with an emphasis on the belief in supernatural and spiritual aspects of Astronism.

Rather than something that is knowingly adhered to, Hyper-Astronism is instead studied by scholars and is identified in all parts of Astronism. However, what can be classified as Hyper-Astronist remains subjective.
