Jane Cottam (née Turner; April 26, 1909 – March 9, 1942) was the maternal great-grandmother of Cometan. She was born in the village of Higher Walton in Lancashire, England and she had three children named Raymond, Kevin and Hilda, the latter two children to her husband, Richard Cottam. She died of tuberculosis at the age of thirty-three.

Great Heaven Vision[]

On her deathbed, Jane Turner experienced the Great Heaven Vision of William "Billy" Hardacre (who had died the previous year and would become Cometan's 2nd great grandfather) calling to her that "it was wonderful over here". Jane said "it was going to be alright" because she had seen him.

In Cometanic ancestry, Jane is classified as part of the 3rd generation retrograde, thus categorising her as an ancestor of Cometan.
