Mary Mottram (née Key; October 26, 1638 – 1680) was the 10th great-grandmother of Cometan, classified as one of Cometan’s distant paternal ancestors in the Taylor family line.
Born in Church Aston in Shropshire, Mary is recorded as having been the daughter of Thomas Key (1605 – 1660) and Dorothy Ankers (1618 – 1653). Mary is recorded as having married Peter Mottram (1636 – 1706) and having given birth to John Mottram in 1670. Mary is also registered as having died at the age of forty-two in an undisclosed placed.
