Non-inscriptionism is a post-omnidoxical belief orientation of Cometanic origin that is contrasted with inscriptionism and advocates for an aversion to placing particular books as central aspects of a religion or philosophy.
Essentially, non-inscriptionism advocates for the use of books for knowledge, but does not consider books to be more important than the beliefs within them or than the circumstances of the present day. Non-inscriptionist approaches to religion can be found throughout Astronism and even inferred to within the Omnidoxy itself.
