The of man doctrines are a series of six "interpretable beliefs" forming the basis of the Astronist soteriological tradition (Astronism's doctrine of salvation). Each of the doctrines is characterised by their use of "of man" or "of humankind" in the appellation to denote their relation to a specific event or phenomena effecting all of humankind. These doctrines are often paired with the states of humankind which are a series of conditions that correspond as consequences of the of man doctrines.
The of man doctrines form an important basis in the Sideresis, the eschatological and soteriological narrative underlying Astronism. This is because each of the doctrines explains a portion of why transcension is crucial in the overall process of humanity's salvation.
