A pre-incumbential event, also referred to as a precursorial event, is an event that may or may not be of a directly religious nature that was recorded and emphasised by the Astronist Institution that occurred in the life of Cometan prior to the Commencement of Ideation in The Year of The Gift as part of The Founding of Astronism and was therefore prior to the official beginning of Cometan’s public life. Pre-incumbential events are still commemorated amongst certain portions of the Astronist community as precursorial meaning they were predicators and to varying levels integral to the establishment of Astronism.
