The processes of religious presence is a post-omnidoxical framework of Cometanic origin that is part of the Astronist philosophy of religion. It involves describing the set of processes involved in the development of a religion in a particular country, of which four processes are highlighted as part of the framework.
The four processes identified and explored by the framework include:
- Initialisation - religion is founded but has no established organisation to represent and manage it
- Institutionalisation - religion establishes an organisation but holds no legal rights or representations
- Legalisation - religion gains legal protection but remains small and largely unrecognised and not included on censuses
- Recognition - religion gains greater recognition through dissemination and is included on documents like censuses
