an aspect of Hindu cosmology involving astronomical phenomena, involving the carrying celestial bodies on wheels, all of which rotate around the star Polaris, using cords made of wind, as conducted by Brahma.

Origin and etymology[]

  • The inclusion of the Purana cosmology into the Astronic tradition is due to its celestial and astronomical theme and was initiated by Cometan as part of his initial phase of scholarship on the Astronic tradition.
