Religions by centricity is a post-omnidoxical framework of Cometanic origin that is categorised as part of the Astronist philosophy of religion. It states that all religions are based upon one or more "centricities", or "centrisms", or are pivoted around central subjects and that all religions can be categorised according to their centricity as a basic way of understanding the fundamental differences in worldview of those religions.
Each religion is assigned a centricity typically following the rationality for why the religion has been assigned such a centricity.
Types of centricities:
- Avaricentrism (money is central) (e.g. materialism)
- Anthropocentrism (humanity is central) (e.g. Christianity)
- Biocentrism
- Cosmocentrism (cosmos is central) (e.g. Astronism)
- Ecocentrism
- Ethnocentrism (nation is central) (e.g. Judaism, Communism)
- Geocentrism (earth is central) (e.g. Christianity)
- Karmacentrism (karma is central) (e.g. Buddhism, Hinduism)
- Sentiocentrism
- Technocentrism
- Theocentrism (god is central) (e.g. Christianity)
Some religions may comprise of different multitudes of centricities while others may also be identified with a single centricity:
- Monocentrism
- Polycentrism
- Tricentrism/Tridimensionality
There will also always exist a superior centricity and an inferior centricity to a religion.
