In the Astronist philosophy of religion, a religious tradition is a collection of religions that share theological, thematic, geographic, temporal, or genealogical ties. The concept of religious tradition is important to the comparative study of religion. According to the Astronist philosophy of religion, there are two categories for religious traditions; major and minor.
