Richard Warbrecke (also spelt as Richarde; also spelt as Warbrick or Warbrock; 1570 – January 1597) was the 12th great-grandfather of Cometan, classified as one of Cometan’s distant maternal ancestors in the Warbrick family line. Richard is the earliest known Cometanic ancestry possessing the Warbrick surname. Little is certainly known of Richard’s life except for that he was born in Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, and was the father of Robert Warbrecke (1590 – 1622). Richard is recorded as having been buried on 11th January 1597 at St Paul’s Church in Marton, Lancashire.
In Cometanic ancestry, Richard is classified as part of the 14th generation retrograde, categorising him as a distant ancestor of Cometan.
