Sarah Pilkington (1690 – ????) was the 8th great-grandmother of Cometan, classified as one of his distant maternal ancestors in the Cottam family line. Other than being born in Sefton in Lancashire, little else is known about Sarah’s life. It is recorded that she had at least one son named John Pilkington, but the identity of her spouse remains unknown as are details regarding the date and place of her death.
