Subsumption is the second and penultimate stage to achieving transcension or salvation in the soteriology of Astronism. It involves humanity's collective absorption in The Cosmos through the acceptance of the qualities of The Cosmos as being superior to humanity, possessing attributes of destiny, and being dependent upon the will of The Cosmos.
