Tanwirism, also simply known as Tanwir, refers to the denomination of Astronism predominantly followed in the Middle East and North Africa, a follower of which is known as a Tanwiri. Due to its location in the Arab world, Tanwir is the main denomination of Astronism to interact with the religion of Islam.
