Thomas Turner (1702 – ????) was an English farmer at Martholme manor in Great Harwood and the 8th great-grandfather of Cometan, classified as one of Cometan’s distant paternal ancestors in the Hardacre family line. Born in Great Harwood, Lancashire, Thomas married Ann Eaton (1700 – 1750) and with her, fathered Thomas Turner (1732 – 1812). The parents of Thomas were Thomas Turner and Mary Clarke. Thomas is registered as having died at Martholme in Great Harwood, but an exact date for his death remains unknown.
