Transcensionism, also known as the transcensionist movement, is the belief orientation that is closely associated with the concept and notion of transcension from which it is derived. Transcensionism has been granted the title of being The Cornerstone of Astronism, or erroneously The Ultimation by Cometan in The Omnidoxy which was later corrected to be cosmosis.

Transcensionism is essentially predicated on the notion that humanity is not presently existing according to its intended purpose which is that humanity must become a multiplanetary species, that it must transcend from the bounds of The Earth, and after which it will ascend to new heights in its mental, physical, and intellectual capacity. The transcension of humanity is equated with the ability of humanity to achieve its believed existential purpose which can be justified either theistically, non-theistically or atheistically depending upon an individual's particular orientation.
